Day 41- June 27th

Praise God! The weather turned nice again and we were able to go out without being blown away. Because of the nice change, Jen and Jesse were able to bring Anelle over for some play time. Then, we all decided to go out for pizza and celebrate their last day in Astana. (You can't beat the place we go; it's a nice sit-down cafe and a dinner plate-size pizza is only $3.00!) After lunch, we walked back to the river and said our goodbyes. Luckily we'll see them again in a few days when we go down to Almaty.
We also booked our tickets for our flight home today. It was somewhat hard talking in English to a young Russian man who worked for a Korean airline. Thank goodness Kevin's mom had called ahead in the U.S. to establish the new itinerary; all we had to do here was verify it and cancel our old flight (and even that was hard at times!).
As of today, we are hoping to return on Saturday, July 2nd at 3:54 pm (assuming the passport still comes in time). Instead of arriving at SFO, we had to change to Oakland Int. (although we're not sure why). On Thursday, we will know for sure if the passport made it in time. At that point, if everything is confirmed, we'll put an update on the website with information about our arrival details incase you are planning to meet us at the airport.
