Day 28 - June 14th

Not much new today. We did our regular morning activities followed by the usual 1:15 trip to the baby house. It was a warm and windy day, but we enjoyed it nevertheless. Katie began making baby talk today (a combination of one or two different noises). It was really cute to hear her beginning to communicate. She also was able to sit hunched forward without our help, although if she moved slightly, she would start to tip over. Witnessing this progress today was great since it was her seven-month birthday!
After handing her off again (something that keeps getting harder and harder) we headed to the notary to sign some more papers. Although we had to sit and wait for a while, we were excited to be doing anything to keep the process moving. At this point, we're really feeling like we've been here for months and still have months to go, so any sign of progess is a good one! Please continue to pray that the process of getting Kaite's passport, visa and all her paperwork will be a fast one because we're anxious to come home as soon as the 15 day waiting period is over.

"Can I have that camera, please Daddy?"

"Awe Mommy, do you have to clean behind my ears?"

Katie did well today when we made her handprints

Daddy and daughter just relaxing together in the shade

Sometimes Katie chews on her thumb...

and sometimes on a binky.

"I really like looking at the cute baby on my blanket"

Katie crashed hard today after a long afternoon of playing
