Day 1 - May 17th
We left for SFO at 12:30 (thanks for the ride, Don!) and met Kevin's parents and Grandma at the airport for dinner. After a nice visit, we headed off to the gate and boarded our plane for LAX. Once on the ground in L.A., we realized that we had to high-tail it to a whole different terminal. We finally found the right bus to get there and got checked in just in time. While sitting in the terminal waiting to board, we quickly noticed we were two of the only people who wern't Asian (I guess that's what happens when you're in a terminal with two different 747's headed for Korea). The flight was wonderful; we were in the forward coach cabin which was small and private. We had great food and incredible service (way better than United). If we do this again, Asiania Airlines is the way to go! In addition to the food, they had an in-flight entertainment system that switched between movies, TV shows and a trip computer showing the exact location of the plane. Its a miracle that this was much cheeper than any other airline.

Our friends Rick and Niki made us these awesome shirts!
