::ADOPTION::ABOUT THE COUNTRY:: Kazakhstan is located between Russia and China. It was originally part
of the U.S.S.R., but then became its own country in 1991. Currently the
country is made up of over 15 million people from the following ethnic
groups: Kazakh (Qazaq) 53.4%, Russian 30%, Ukrainian 3.7%, Uzbek 2.5%,
German 2.4%, Uygur 1.4%, and other 6.6%. This means that children in Kazakhstan
